How to Download Facebook Videos to Computer

There are so many ways to download Facebook videos but they are not as popular as downloading youtube video. There has lots of online facebook video downloading sites but most of them filled with bugs. And many of them drive you to irrelevant pages.

Here, I will show you a simple trick to download facebook video without going any online video downloading website. Also, you don’t have to download any software.

Download Facebook Videos Without Any Software

Firstly, find a video on Facebook and save the video to your computer or mobile by using my mentioned method.

This method tells you to download facebook video directly from Facebook without going additional web page or without downloading any additional software.

Now download the Facebook video to your pc or mobile before it gets removed from facebook.

To download facebook video, follow the steps given below with picture.

Step-1: Find the video and determine if the video is hosted by facebook

Facebook hosted means, videos are uploaded by user directly to Facebook and you can download only this type of video by using my technique.
Note: Facebook hosted video has no host site name underneath the video.

Step-2: Click on the video and play the video

Step-3: Edit the video URL

Now look at the browser bar and edit the video URL by clicking on the browser bar.

However, if you can not find the URL of the video, then right click on the video and click on Show Video URL. Then Copy The video URL.

Step-4: Replace https://www by m and press Enter button

Just replace the https://www by m of your video URL as mentioned above picture that is facebook mobile version URL.

Example:
Before editing: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=66545……………
After editing: m.facebook.com/video.php?v=66545…………..

After changing the url, press enter button and now a new page will come that is actually mobile version of facebook.

Step-5: Click on the video to download

A new page will come just like this picture and click on the video as mentioned in the picture by red arrow.

Step-6: Save The Facebook Video to Your Computer

A new page will open with that facebook video. Now right click on the video and click on Save Video As…. It will save the video to your device.

Finally, I think this is the easiest and safe method to download facebook videos.

I did this on Firefox browser and I usually use this method to download facebook video.
