It’s not a hard task to flash your Samsung smartphone. You can easily flash custom & stock ROM on your Samsung smartphone Using the Odin. Firstly, take a backup of your data. Because, during the flashing process, local data will get deleted automatically. Also, charge your device up to 30% before start flashing.

Step 1: Download the firmware file for Samsung smartphone. Then extract the downloaded file on your computer.

Step 2: Now, download & install the latest Samsung USB driver on the computer.

Step 3: Then turn off your device. Reboot it into recovery mode by pressing the Vol down + Power + Home key at once. When your phone vibrates release those keys.

Step 4: Now your device will boot into download mode. Press the Vol up key to continue.

Step 5: Download the latest version of Odin downloader on your computer. Extract the downloaded file and you will get all necessary files.

Step 6: Open the extracted file and run the Odin.exe file as Administrator.

Step 7: Click on the AP button on Odin.

Step 8: Then choose the select the tar.md5 file and click on OK.

Step 9: Now connect your device to the computer via USB cable. You will see ‘Added!!’ message on Odin downloader.

Step 10: Finally, click on the Start button to start the flashing process.

Step 11: Wait until the process gets finished. After finishing the process, you will get the ‘PASS!’ message with a green box.

If your device gets stuck at Bootloop, then reboot your device in download mode (Vol up + Power + Home). Then press Vol up key to continue. Now select ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ on recovery menu. Then chose ‘reboot system now’ to reboot your device. That’s it! Your device will reboot into Android. Check if everything is working or not.

Readme before leave:

  1. You will lose all personal data after flashing your device. So, you should take a backup before starting the flashing process.
  2. If you flash stock ROM on your Samsung device, then it won’t void your device warranty.
